newsletter is dedicated to those that have come to realize that swimming is a
way of life.
The
summer season is just around the corner.
Schools will be closing within the week, long course meets will be in
full swing, and the new practice schedule begins.

groups please call the message service (216-561-3423) each Friday night for the
Saturday morning schedule. If the number
of swimmers is too large in any group, then additional practice time will be
made available.
Jerry
will inform the Silver and Gold swimmers that are Select
and expected to swim at CSU. Doubles are
part of the program. Your attendance is
expected!
We want to congratulate all the LESD
Seniors who have graduated and are starting a new phase in their lives. We wish you the best in your transitions
throughout this summer. Please take time
to thank your parents for their past and future support.
Special thanks to Petra Hahn-Lawson for securing a
file cabinet from her employer for LESD and to Billy Anderson for transporting
it. We are still in need of a laptop computer that might be available from your
employer as a donation to a not-for-profit organization. Please ask if any are
available. Specs can be supplied by emailing LESDWebber@homail.com
Busbey Meet Worker assignments are included in the
newsletter. Please email Amanda Kiel,
Akiel788087@adelphia.net, to advise
of any substitutes that you have arranged for the Busbey Meet work assignments.
Also include the email address and phone number of your substitute. Since most
of our parents work outside of the home, we cannot schedule around your office
hours. Please
plan on taking a vacation day or make
arrangements for a substitute. This is the first of only two major meets that
we are holding this year. The other is the Braun Meet,

compete in the all black team suit and, if you use a cap, LESD cap. Check out the website for uniform order forms or

banquet went extremely well with over 250 swimmers and parents in
attendance. The awards handed out were
truly deserved and the swimmers were happy and excited to receive them. Special thanks to the Board Members and
parents for putting this affair together.

Board Members are annually announced at the banquet. New members for this year include, Dana Trau,
Josey Cerer, and Ray Gleske.
New
officers for 2004-05 are, Brian Dorenkott, President, Margie Moragne, ice
President, Joanne Arnold, Secretary, and Claudia Bacon, Treasurer.
Third-year
members include: Amanda Kiel, Janet Ranallo, and Teri Glassman.
